One Cow Standing was founded by Nickie Buckner and Matt Gauger, long-time friends, co-workers, and software developers, with the goal of building successful, long-term relationships with clients who value well designed software solutions, attention to detail and outstanding customer service.

The growth of our firm has allowed us to bring on additional, trusted former co-workers whose expertise and professionalism match our ideals. One Cow Standing is strongly committed to ensuring our clients exceed their business goals through smart technology development, implementation, and support.

What's in a Name?

Did you know that cows predict the weather? It's true. Cows have an inate ability to sense bad weather hours before it arrives. If you see a large group of cattle, and they're all laying down, that is a good sign that bad weather is coming. Either that or they're sleepy.

Cows are also "herd" animals. Very seldom will you see one cow doing something totally different than the others.

We chose "One Cow Standing" because we like the idea of a single cow standing up while all of the others are laying down. That cow is saying "I don't care if everyone else thinks bad weather is coming. I've got work to do!".
